Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space - PQ 2015
The culinary extravaganza #abyss.foodposession is a new incarnation of the performance #abyss.witchroulette. The artists explore the intersection between performing arts and food design – reframing the original performance and adapting it to the new situation: durational cooking experience. Again, the agency is shifted to the power of chance that choreographs the order of cooking activities, adding ingredients and spices to the magical dish. Kitchen tools become wands, performers practice being possessed by them, while investigating what a contemporary witch would eat.
